New Disease Reports Started in 2000, New Disease Reports is an international, open-access online journal of the British Society for Plant Pathology. Objectives The main objectives of New Disease Reports are (i) to provide a mechanism for rapid on-line reporting of outbreaks of plant pathogens on a global scale, (ii) to provide a repository for observations of the sort important to diagnosticians, field advisers, researchers and plant health policy makers; and (iii) to encourage succinct condensed reporting of disease observations. New Disease Reports welcomes submissions on all types of plant pathogens including: Fungi Papers accepted for publication in New Disease Reports will be published electronically on the BSPP Website and tri-annually within the BSPP journal Plant Pathology. Colour pictures are welcomed but will not be published in the printed version of the journal.
