The British Society for Plant Pathology and Wiley Blackwell are pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Marty Dickman (Texas A&M University, USA) as the new Editor-in-Chief for Molecular Plant Pathology. Marty will take over editorial duties from Gary Foster who is now stepping down after 13 years as Editor-in-Chief. New Disease Reports: Special Notice (May 2011)

BSPP NDR's development as a peer-reviewed stand-alone on-line journal with the objective of providing rapid publication of new and unusual reports on plant diseases is now complete. Significant enhancements made include an expanded format (longer manuscript, more references, etc.) and a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for each paper published. A Portable Document Format (.pdf) version of Reports published online is now available for download to give 'print quality' reproduction of published Reports. (Not available for Reports that were published in Plant Pathology). Prospective authors are asked to look out for new information on the 'Submission' page of NDR's website.
