BSPP Fellowships: Junior, Senior and Grace Waterhouse Fellowships (in association with the Southern African Society for Plant Pathology) support working visits by BSPP members to laboratories other than their own by providing funds for travel, research expenses in the host institution and other necessary costs, with the aim of facilitating studies or training to the benefit of plant pathology.
BSPP Travel Fund: to provide financial assistance to members wishing to attend a plant pathology conference in the UK or overseas or make short study visits abroad.
BSPP Conference Fund: to support plant pathology related conferences, meetings and workshops.
BSPP Undergraduate Vacation Bursary Scheme: to provide support for work on specified research projects for students during the summer vacation (closing date: 1st April each year).
BSPP MSc Project Bursary Scheme: to extend the BSPP's commitment to training and education in British plant pathology a new MSc bursary scheme is now available. This fund supports a limited number of students during the research phase of their MSc projects in a plant pathology related discipline. Selection will be on the merit of both the student and the proposed project (closing date: 1st April each year).
BSPP Plant Pathology Promotion Fund: to promote an understanding and awareness of the importance of Plant Pathology to a wider audience than its membership. Applications for grants of up to a maximum of £2000 will be considered for projects that have as their aim the stimulation of interest in, and knowledge and awareness of, Plant Pathology to people who do not normally come into contact with the subject.
