Meetings and Conferences

The BSPP hold a Presidential Conference annually which BSPP members can attend for a reduced fee. The meeting always incorporates the PH Gregory Prize which is awarded for the best presentation made by a young scientist. BSPP also supports a number of other meetings, including 1-day meetings, throughout the year. Suggestions of themes for these generally come from BSPP members.

This list of meetings here is by no means comprehensive. If you want a meeting publicised, please contact the webmanager. Other meetings are announced in BSPP News and Plant Pathology. Please contact the Programme Secretary Dr Gerry Saddler,  for further information. Abstracts of some previous meetings including BSPP Presidential meetings and the International Congress of Plant Pathology held in Edinburgh in 1998 are in the BSPP archives.

Potato Workshop
Scottish Agricultural Science Agency, Edinburgh, 2nd July 2008
This one-day workshop is organised by the BSPP, under the auspices of the International Year of the Potato (www.potato2008.org), with sponsorship from the Potato Council (www.potato.org.uk).
