The BSPP Outreach Roadshow will be heading north to the Inspirations 2014 event on June 26th. The team will be showcasing the Plant Doctor activities at the Yorkshire Air Museum in Elvington, York.

The event is free and is aimed at young people aged 11-19 who wish to come along and showcase the science they have been working and take part in science outreach activities.

We will be working with Dr Paul Beales (BSPP Outreach Mentor) who is based at the nearby Food and Environment Research Agency to help develop our outreach activities.

The current BSPP Outreach Internship student Minghui Yin is developing a game activity to help explore the different ways to control plant disease. We will also be running our extremely popular Plant Doctor and pathogen model-making activities.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for us to promote plant pathology to a younger audience.
