Public Engagement 2017
10 Apr 2018
Stoneleigh Agricultural Show
The Outreach team’s only public engagement in 2017 was to the Stoneleigh Agricultural show where we worked with the Life Science team from Warwick University. An enthusiastic and mixed aged audience passed through the tent keeping us busy giving visitors the opportunity to get up close & personal with diseases of cereals and vegetable crops and hearing what it was like to study for a PhD and discuss issues around Food Security. Our thanks go to Kathryn Hales and Steph Kancy from Warwick University for giving up their Saturday to support the Society.
