Joining the BSPP

There are many benefits of joining the BSPP. Members automatically have online access to the journals Plant Pathology or Molecular Plant Pathology or can opt for various combinations at reduced rates (see below). Members also receive a Newsletter and have access to various BSPP funds and the BSPP members database.

New! Membership incentive scheme

If you are already a member, why not introduce up to a MAXIMUM of five colleagues/friends to the BSPP ? For each referred colleague that joins, you will receive £10. This means that if all five colleagues you introduce join the society, you will effectively earn free membership for a year. To participate, simply direct colleagues who you think may benefit from membership to the BSPP website and encourage them to complete the online application. Then send an email with the names and addresses of those who you have referred to membership@bspp.org.uk and you will receive £10 for each colleague that joins.

Current Subscription rates for the BSPP

Subscription rates (per annum) depend on what journal or combination of journals is required:

One journal £50 (£150)
Both journals £100 (£300)
Student/retired/unemployed £25 (one journal) / £50 (two journals) (£75 / £150)
No Journal (retired members only)  £15

Journals: Plant Pathology or Molecular Plant Pathology. Figures in brackets refer to rates for 3-year membership available to all members, but not to direct debit payers.
