Plant Defenders
Plant Pathologists defend the health of plants across the world. We are a huge community of experts that spend all of our time exploring plants and how we can protect them for our food, fuel, clothes and the places we live in. Click here to read more about ‘Plant Defenders‘
Super Spuds
Potatoes are the plants behind chips, mash, roasties and so many of our favourite foods, but did you know they are under threat? Just like us, they get sick from illnesses like viruses and bacterial infections. Incredibly, potatoes (or “spuds”) have special defences to help them stay healthy, but they need our help to reach their full “Super Spud” potential. Do you want to help develop resources and run BSPP outreach activities? You can join our slack workspace and we will update you when Outreach events are happening.
