BSPP Plant Health Club ‘Visiting Fellowship Schemes’

Suzie Pearce (DEFRA) will share her experience of undertaking an EPPO Plant Health Fellowship and discuss the new round for applications which will open soon.

We will also hear from Jassy Drakulic  (RHS) who was the recipient of a BSPP Senior Fellowship

I currently work in the plant health team at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), focusing on policy as well as pest risk analyses and other technical input. Before starting my job at Defra, I worked on several research projects in plant health, either for my academic degrees (a BSc in Biology and a MSc in Plant Genetics and Crop Improvement) or as paid employment. I am the first awardee of the EPPO Jens-Georg Unger Plant Health Fellowship.
