We are pleased to announce a final opportunity for early career researchers to contribute to the programme for the Early Career Plant Pathology 2025 (ECPP2025) meeting, which will take place in Nottingham on Tuesday, 9th September, the day before the main Plant Pathology 2025 conference.
A limited number of speaking slots have been reserved for late-breaking abstracts — ideal for early career scientists who have recently obtained new results or developed emerging ideas they are ready to share. This is a chance to present your work in a supportive and welcoming environment alongside peers from across the plant pathology community.
The final deadline for abstract submissions is 25 July 2025.
We particularly welcome contributions from:
- PhD students
- Postdoctoral researchers
- Early-career professionals in industry or applied sectors
- Undergraduate and MSc researchers engaged in plant pathology?
ECPP2025 offers a unique platform to gain presentation experience, receive constructive feedback, and build professional networks before the main conference begins.
“The most satisfying aspect of the conference for me was the fruitful discussion over the coffee breaks and poster sessions. Having my work displayed via a poster at the meeting has surely attracted valuable insights, suggestions and feedback on my current work, of which I could not be more appreciative. Grateful for having the opportunity to attend and look forward to making new connections in the future annual meetings.”
