BSPP COVID-19 support to PhD students

This call closed on 31^st of August 2021.  

The BSPP aims to assist postgraduate research students working in the field of plant pathology who are experiencing unforeseen exceptional circumstances during their studies due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The financial support is available to full- and part-time postgraduate research students working in the field of plant pathology. Eligible applicants must be a BSPP member for at least 3 months prior to the application or their primary supervisor must have been a member of the society for at least one year.  

The amount awarded is at the discretion of the Board but will not exceed £4000. The funds can be used to cover stipend and/or the cost of experiments lost due to the pandemic.  

Application for funding, using the online form, should be made to the BSPP board. The call has a rolling deadline and will remain open until the 31^st of August 2021.   The information you provide will be used solely for the purpose of assessing your application and will only be available to the administrative staff and board members who will process and review your application.
