Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi. Fungi from phylum Glomeromycota that live in a mutualistic association with ornamental plants. They penetrate the root cells and develop arbuscules by dichotomously branching inside the root cell, and the external mycelium forms an extensive network in the soil.
