1) Horseradish (Armoracia rusticana) peroxidase is used in detection systems with different substrates. The enzyme binds a secondary antibody. 2) Enzyme which polymerise by the condensation of two hydroxyl groups. Believed to be important in lignin and suberin formation as well as the incorporation of HRGP in cell wall – oxidative cross linking. Cf. laccase.
