PPATH24 in Oxford featured two parallel sessions and an excursion to the Diamond Light Source. These were very well supported and we are keen to continue to host workshops at our annual meetings. These workshops could focus on a particular technique, a specific crop group, a set of pathogens or any other aspect of plant pathology. The workshops could be in collaboration with other Learned Societies or other interested groups.
Next year, the meetings will be held in Nottingham from September 9th to the 11th. We have set aside the morning of the 11th Sept for 2 or 3 parallel sessions but if demand is high, we might hold satellite meetings on Friday 12th Sept.
Please describe the topic and suggest names of people you would like to hear speaking at the workshop. The BSPP will support these workshops by organising the venue, registration, catering, poster boards, accommodation and by financing the attendance of key participants.
Please send us your suggestions to meetings@bspp.org.uk by 8th November.
