Among the many benefits of joining the BSPP, members automatically have online access to the journal Plant Pathology. The society’s other journal Molecular Plant Pathology went Open Access for all from 2019. Members also receive a Newsletter and have access to various BSPP funds and the BSPP members database. In addition, BSPP members submitting scientific articles to Molecular Plant Pathology will be eligible for a 20% discount on Article Processing Charges (APCs)* if their article is accepted for publishing.

*The corresponding author must be a BSPP member for the discount to apply

Via the BSPP’s organisational membership of the Royal Society of Biology (RSB) our members can benefit from a discount of 50%* on RSB individual membership for their first two years. Please contact membership@rsb.org.uk if you would like to take up this offer. *This offer is unavailable to full time undergraduate students, as the RSB already significantly discounts this membership.
