The British Society for Plant Pathology (BSPP) was founded in 1981 for the study and advancement of plant pathology. The BSPP produces resources to help promote the teaching of plant pathology from primary school up to university level. We have resources introducing plant pathogens for primary schools (Plant Doctors and Make a Plant Attacker) and more detailed content to help teach about major plant pathogens that are named on GCSE and A-level specifications.

The United Nations has declared 2020 as the International Year of Plant Health (IYPH).
